Liam Rees, who plays long-form guitar meditations influenced both by American Primitive style guitarists as well as Indian raga and Middle Eastern music. He currently lives in and studies the ancient Hindustani classical music of India.

Consists of one bedroom recorder (Shane Sanchez) with a penchant for psychedelic industrial dirges. Performance wise, the project is ever changing. The current incarnation consists of three members (Shane Sanchez, John Gill and Chris Brown) creating what’s been labeled as “droning, aggressive shoegaze.”

Second Annual Beatshot Music Festival

Beatshot Music Festival will return to the Red Square in Albany, NY for not one but two days (July 2nd & 3rd) this year. The event will feature poets, food vendors, emcees, visual artists, video projection, clothes vendors, bands, dancers, b-boys and homeboys.
On Friday July 2nd world wide triple threat J-Live (www.j-livemusic.com) will be hosting with DJ’s Nate Da Great and Trumastr.
On Saturday July 3rd Homeboy Sandman (www.homeboysandman.com) takes over hosting duties with J-Live behind the ones and twos.
